Bandai Entertainment released s-CRY-ed as six individual DVD volumes starting 2003, a complete six-disc box set in November 2004, then re-released it under the Anime Legends banner in September 2005 (three two-disc volumes) and again as the Anime Legends Complete Collection in October 2006. The anime premiered on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim in late May 2005, after select episodes had already run on the network's Video On Demand service for nearly a year, with an acclaimed English dub starring Steven Blum and Jason Spisak.
Bandai Closes, Sentai Rescues It, Then Sits On It

Bandai Entertainment closed its North American home video operations in January 2012, leaving s-CRY-ed and a number of other Sunrise titles without a distributor. Sentai Filmworks announced it had rescued the license at Otakon 2013, but never actually released the show on DVD or Blu-ray. The license effectively went dormant for the better part of a decade.
Discotek Finally Gets It Out, April 27, 2021

Discotek Media announced it had licensed s-CRY-ed in May 2020, restoring a title that had been functionally unavailable on physical media since Bandai's 2012 closure. The complete 26-episode Blu-ray set, both English dub and Japanese with subtitles, released April 27, 2021, closing a gap of nearly a decade since anyone had actually put the show back on shelves.
