ANBU and AnimeOne operated Naruto as a formal joint project before publicly splitting in August 2004. AnimeOne's own 2004-08-12 notice calls the break 'Irreconcilable Differences' and says AonE would continue alone; ANBU's own 2004-08-14 statement independently confirms termination and explains ANBU's side of the dispute. AnimeSuki and AniDB preserve later files/batches under the ANBU & AonE identity, including a joint-attributed episode 119 row, but those later attributions do not by themselves prove that the groups reconciled. They may represent renewed cooperation, retained older joint files, rebatching, or database attribution practice.
Signature style
A real Naruto joint identity, later complicated by archive/database rows that continue to carry the joint credit after the publicly documented August 2004 breakup.
