The Daily Dragon Ball Chapters

Founded by Eric Phan in September 1997 as The Weekly Dragon Ball Chapters and renamed Daily almost immediately. Surviving 1997–1999 update logs turn DDBC into a production diary rather than a later scene recollection: chapters are credited to contributors including Spamdini, Piccolo Z, DBZ 3:16/Michael Harris and others; broken chapters are constantly reuploaded across donated free-host accounts; and the site maintained a Fanscan 101 guide explaining how to scan, clean and letter manga. When Viz publication caught up to material DDBC hosted, the site removed those chapters and explicitly told readers to buy the official issues. It later became Tankouban DB and merged into Planet Namek in 2000.
