SCHNEIZEL EL BRITANNIA SPOILER!
SE
Schneizel is Britannia's Second Prince, prime minister and one of the few strategists who can consistently make Lelouch work for every advantage. He is charming, calm and rarely needs to raise his voice, which makes the scale of his decisions more unsettling. Schneizel does not share Lelouch's emotional attachment to individual lives or Charles's obsession with metaphysics. He sees politics as a problem that can be stabilized if enough power is placed in the right hands. By the final conflict that logic produces the Damocles and the threat of FLEIJA warheads, a system of peace enforced by fear from above. Schneizel's danger is not that he loses control. It is that he remains perfectly composed while proposing something monstrous because, to him, the numbers still make sense.

Schneizel's plan for Damocles is to keep the fortress beyond ordinary retaliation and use F.L.E.I.A. warheads as permanent leverage over the world. Peace would come from universal fear of annihilation rather than consent. That is why the final conflict is more than Lelouch versus another strategist: both men are proposing ways to end war by concentrating unbearable power in one place.
Turn 24 · Albion vs. S.E.I.T.E.N.
The final war resolves the series on two levels at once. Lelouch beats Schneizel by predicting the strategist's answers and then uses Geass to bind him to Zero. Outside, Suzaku and Kallen fight the pure military version of the same conflict in the Lancelot Albion and Guren S.E.I.T.E.N.. The machines are destroyed, but both pilots survive long enough for the political plan behind the battle to continue.

Schneizel does not defeat Zero with a stronger Knightmare. He gives the Black Knights evidence that their commander has Geass and has manipulated people around him. The information is selective and self-serving, but enough of it is true to break trust already weakened by casualties and secrecy. The betrayal works because Lelouch built an organization that depended on faith in a masked leader while refusing to let that organization really know him.

SPOILER! F.L.E.I.A. · Deterrence Becomes Mass Erasure Open →Nina Einstein's F.L.E.I.A. warhead removes everything inside its expanding detonation field, making it fundamentally different from the ordinary explosions the series has used before. Suzaku's first launch over Tokyo turns a weapon developed as a strategic answer into an immediate civilian catastrophe. By the Damocles endgame, Schneizel's control of F.L.E.I.A. is political power: obedience can be demanded from entire nations at once.
