INUYASHA
IN
A brash, silver-haired half-demon (Hanyo) who spent 50 years pinned to a sacred tree by a spiritual arrow after a tragic, web-of-lies betrayal. Wearing the impervious Robes of the Fire Rat and wielding the Tessaiga—a massive, rusty katana that transforms into a giant fang capable of blasting hundreds of demons at once—Inuyasha is a walking ball of deep-seated trust issues and stubborn pride. He treats every conversation like a shouting match and is caught in an eternal emotional tug-of-war between his past love and his present companion, though he is easily brought to heel by a literal, neck-snapping compliance spell: "Sit, boy!"

Episode 52 · Ruined Village Clearing · Tragic Demonic Awakening
The Apostle-like demon Goshinki snapped Tessaiga in half with his jaws. Without Tessaiga's protective barrier suppressing his bloodline, Inuyasha's full demon blood took complete control.
The Breakdown
Inuyasha's eyes turned blood-red with dark purple face markings. Overpowered by pure slaughter instincts, Inuyasha ripped Goshinki to pieces bare-handed, terrifying Kagome before she used "Sit!" to restore his human mind.

Final Act Episode 8 · Mount Azusa Ridge · Tragic Purification Climax
Naraku injected miasma directly into Kikyo's clay body, trying to corrupt her soul before she could purify the Shikon Jewel.
The Breakdown
Inuyasha carried Kikyo to Mount Azusa to retrieve a sacred purification bow. Though they cleansed her soul, the miasma damage to her clay shell was fatal. Kikyo died peacefully in Inuyasha's arms under the moonlight as her soul collectors carried her spirit away.
Final Act Episodes 25–26 · Black Shikon Jewel Core · Total Victory
