Exsedol is a living database of galactic history, and he is the first Zentradi to warn that humans might possess "Protoculture", the forgotten, world-shaping force of art and emotion. After undergoing micronization to peacefully board the SDF-1, his awkward, purely intellectual curiosity about human customs makes him a brilliant comedic and diplomatic bridge between species.
