Details & Synopsis
Naruto Uzumaki was born on the night the Fourth Hokage sealed the Nine-Tailed Fox inside him to save the village. The village watched the demon go in. It forgot to tell the child what it had done to him. What followed was twelve years of a boy growing up knowing he was hated and not knowing why, loud, relentless, failing every test, eating ramen alone, until the day he graduated dead last from the Academy and became a ninja anyway through sheer refusal to stay down.
That is the premise. What the series becomes is something larger.
Naruto ran for 220 episodes on TV Tokyo from 2002 to 2007, produced by Studio Pierrot from Masashi Kishimoto's manga. The Chunin Exam arc is one of the great tournament sequences in shonen history. Naruto vs. Neji is a thesis statement about fate and effort that the show earns through fifty episodes of buildup before it delivers. The Sasuke Retrieval arc ends on failure, the hero does not get his friend back, does not keep his promise, is found in the dirt by Kakashi while Sasuke walks away, and that failure is the most radical thing a shonen series had done to its protagonist in years.
In the West, Cartoon Network aired a version. That version was not this. The broadcast cut removed blood, altered dialogue, and softened the things the show was specifically built around. The fansub community knew it immediately. ANBU-AonE, the result of a merger between two of the era's most respected groups, became the definitive answer. Their karaoke openings. Their translation fidelity. The weekly releases that IRC rooms and BitTorrent trackers distributed before streaming existed as a concept. Before Crunchyroll. Before legal alternatives. Before anyone in the industry believed Western audiences would watch anime subtitled in volume.
This archive holds the complete ANBU-AonE fansub run, all 220 episodes, the version the community actually watched, the version that built the Western Naruto fandom from the ground up. Not the broadcast. Not the remaster. The original release, as it was distributed, as it was intended.
This is provenance. This is the record.

The Seven Swordsmen Tradition

Kirigakure Heritable Relics

Seven legendary, specialized broadswords handed down through elite Kirigakure warriors for generations. Each blade possesses a unique magical or kinetic property designed for specific battlefield roles, ranging from chakra absorption and iron-regeneration to explosive detonation.

Kubikiribōchō (Executioner's Blade)

Severs & Regenerates · Zabuza / Suigetsu
A massive, cleaver-like broadsword featuring a circular cutout and strap ring. Possesses the unique ability to completely repair and reconstruct its steel from the iron harvested directly out of the blood of its victims upon combat contact.

Samehada (Shark Skin)

Sentient Chakra-Eater · Kisame Hoshigaki
The most terrifying of the Seven Blades. A living, scaly sword covered in sharp shark skin that shaves target flesh rather than cutting. Feeds directly on high-tier chakra, capable of transferring stolen energy to heal its wielder or fusing with its master entirely.

Hiramekarei (Twin Sword)

Chakra Storehouse · Chōjūrō / Mangetsu
A heavy, two-handed dual blade equipped with two handles. Stores the wielder's chakra inside the metal and instantly projects it outward upon release to shape the energy into massive physical constructs like hammers, extended longswords, or energy shields.

Kiba (Lightning Blades)

Fangs of Lightning · Raiga / Ameyuri
Twin narrow blades infused with extreme electrical conductivity. Known as the sharpest swords in existence, they allow the user to channel, amplify, and absorb natural atmospheric lightning with zero chakra lag.

Kabutowari (Helmet Splitter)

Blunt & Ax Combo · Jinin Akebino
A brutal combination weapon consisting of a heavy single-edged axe and a massive iron hammer bound together by a leather cord. Striking the hammer against the back of the axe drives the blade through any defensive wall or armor.

Nuibari (Sewing Needle)

Threading Wire Blade · Kushimaru Kuriarare
A long, thin rapier shaped like a giant sewing needle attached to a spool of high-tensile wire. Designed to puncture multiple enemies sequentially, stitching them together in tight wire bundles.

Shibuki (Explosive Blade)

Blast Scroll Sword · Jinpachi Munashi
A specialized sword combining swordsmanship with explosive tag scrolls. The flat side of the blade houses a scroll roll that feeds continuous explosive tags across the strike edge, detonating upon physical impact.

Sword of Totsuka (Sakegari Blade)

Etheric Sealing Blade · Itachi's Susanoo
An ethereal, weaponless blade housed inside a sake gourd wielded by Itachi Uchiha's Susanoo. Piercing a target draws their soul directly into the gourd, trapping them inside a world of drunken dreams for eternity.

Yata Mirror

Absolute Elemental Shield · Itachi's Susanoo
An ethereal shield wielded in the left hand of Itachi's Susanoo. Endowed with all five elemental nature properties, it automatically changes its structural properties to counter any incoming attack, rendering all physical and jutsu strikes useless.

Sword of Kusanagi (Grass Mower)

Levitating Blade · Orochimaru / Sasuke
A legendary Japanese broadsword capable of extending its blade kilometers outward, hovering in mid-air on command, and slicing through material as dense as diamond. Sasuke wields a straight chidori-channeling variation.

Treasured Tools of the Sage of Six Paths

SPOILER! Rikudō Sennin no Ogudō · Legendary Artifacts
Five powerful artifacts created by Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki. Includes the Bashōsen (a fan capable of firing all five base elemental nature blasts), the Benihisago (a sealing gourd that traps souls upon speaking their most-used word), and the Kohaku Jōhei (a pot that seals anyone who responds when called).

Chakra Blades (Trench Knives)

Chakra Flow Conduit · Asuma Sarutobi
Specialized brass-knuckle trench knives forged from rare chakra-conductive metal. The blades absorb and amplify the user's nature transformation, extending cutting edges into invisible wind-scalpels or lightning spikes.

Iron Fan (Tessen)

Three Stars · Temari
A massive steel fan featuring three painted purple stars (Hoshi). As the fan unfolds to reveal each star, it amplifies wind release chakra to summon high-velocity slicing tempests and Kamaitachi summons.
