CHOJI AKIMICHI

Choji Akimichi
CA

Naruto: Shippuden · Supporting / Akimichi Clan Fighter

Choji grows into one of Team 10's strongest close-range fighters, using the Akimichi clan's body-expansion techniques without relying on the dangerous pills that nearly killed him in Part I. He can enlarge individual limbs, become a giant and eventually use the Butterfly Mode with far greater control over its cost. Choji is still sensitive about his weight and still happiest around food, but Shippuden increasingly emphasizes the kindness underneath those familiar jokes. He struggles when missions force him to attack people he once cared about, especially during the war, because strength has never come naturally to him when cruelty is required. Shikamaru and Ino trust Choji not just because he can hit hard, but because they know exactly how far he will go for them.
